Demo website: Trattoria del Molo is not a real business. The panel to edit menu and hours yourself is a separate service.

Trattoria del Molo

Privacy & Cookie Policy

Document updated on 09/10/2026 — Trattoria del Molo di Mario Bianchi, Via del Porto 1, 04022 Fondi (LT), Italy. This page explains which data the website demo-pannello-git.netlify.app collects, why, for how long, and what you may request at any time.

1. Introduction

This is a showcase website: it presents the business, the menu and the contact details. It sells nothing online, it has no restricted areas, it does not ask you to register and it contains no contact forms. Consequently the data it processes is minimal, and this notice states so explicitly rather than listing processing operations that do not take place.

This notice is provided pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), to Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree no. 101/2018 (the Italian Personal Data Protection Code), and to Decision no. 231 of 10 June 2021 of the Italian Data Protection Authority on cookies. The controller is established in Italy and Italian law applies to this processing.

2. Data controller

P.IVA (VAT no.) 00000000000 — C.F. (tax code) BNCMRA75A01D662X — Registered with the Companies Register of Latina
Telephone: +39 0771 000000 — Email: demo@example.invalid

Data Protection Officer (DPO): not appointed. The processing carried out through this website does not fall within the cases in which Article 37 GDPR makes such an appointment mandatory — there is no regular and systematic monitoring on a large scale, nor large-scale processing of special categories of data.

3. What data, for what purpose, on what legal basis

3.1 Browsing data

As with any website, in order to function this site receives certain data that your browser transmits automatically: IP address, browser type and operating system, date and time of the request, and the page requested. This data is not collected in order to identify you and is not linked to any other information.

Purpose: to deliver the pages you request and to keep the service secure and operational (detection of abuse, malfunctions and attempted attacks).
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interests. The legitimate interests pursued: the controller's interest in operating the website and protecting it from abusive use, which does not override your rights because the data remains in the hosting provider's technical logs, is not consulted in order to profile you and is not combined with other information.

3.2 Data you provide to us

The website has no contact forms, so no data is submitted through these pages and there is nothing you are required or permitted to provide in order to browse. If you email or telephone us using the published contact details, we process your data directly in order to reply to you, on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (responding to your request, including at the pre-contractual stage). In that case you choose the data yourself: we need what is necessary in order to reply, and without it we simply cannot do so.

3.3 Cookies and tools that store information on your device

The website uses technical tools only. There are no profiling cookies, no advertising, and no analytics or traffic-measurement tool of any kind. The details are set out in section 4.

4. Cookie Policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Some are needed to make the website work (technical cookies) and do not require your consent; others measure visits or display advertising (third-party analytics and profiling cookies) and require prior, freely given consent. Alongside cookies there are similar technologies — such as localStorage and sessionStorage — which store information on your terminal equipment and are subject to the same rules (Article 122 of the Italian Personal Data Protection Code).

Which ones this website uses

Technical only. No profiling cookies, no third-party cookies, no analytics tool. This is the complete table, not an extract:

How you give and change your choice

On your first visit a banner appears allowing you to accept or reject by means of two buttons of equal prominence, placed at the same level, together with a panel for choosing category by category. Closing the banner without choosing amounts to rejection: neither scrolling the page nor continuing to browse constitutes consent.

How long your choice lasts. We record it for 186 days (six months). On expiry the banner will appear once more, to ask whether your decision still stands: this is the minimum period laid down by Decision no. 231/2021 of the Italian Data Protection Authority, which prohibits repeating the request at every access. You may of course change your mind sooner, at any time, using the button at the foot of this page.

How to disable them in your browser

You may also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Please note: blocking technical cookies may prevent some features of the website from working correctly.

5. Third-party services

None. This is a design decision taken when the website was built, not an omission in this notice: the typefaces, the cookie banner library and the map are hosted on this website's own domain and not on external content delivery networks. In particular, the location map uses a cartographic extract served from this same domain: when you open the contact page your browser contacts no third-party server, and no IP address is transmitted to any map provider.

The only exception, and only if you choose to use them, are the links to external sites present on the page: the buttons that open directions in Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze, and the credit of the person who built the website. These are links: nothing is sent to those services until you click. Once you arrive there, their own privacy notice applies, not this one.

WhatsApp button. Using it opens WhatsApp, and the data of that conversation go to Meta under WhatsApp’s privacy policy. The website collects nothing: it is a link, and nothing is sent until you click.

6. How long we keep data, and where it goes

Browsing data: it remains in the hosting provider's technical logs, which the provider retains for as long as necessary for the security and operation of the service in accordance with its own policies; the controller neither has access to it nor extracts it. As there are no contact forms, no archive of messages received through the website exists.

Direct correspondence: if you write to us by email, we keep the message for as long as necessary to reply and to manage any relationship arising from it, and thereafter for any period required by tax or other legal obligations.

Transfers outside the European Union. The hosting provider, Netlify Inc., is established in the United States. The transfer is covered by its certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, additionally, by the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. You may request a copy by writing to demo@example.invalid: we will provide it free of charge.

7. Hosting and infrastructure

The website is hosted by Netlify Inc. (2325 3rd Street, Suite 296, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), acting as processor within the meaning of Article 28 GDPR. Netlify is the party that physically delivers the pages to your browser and therefore receives your IP address, recording it in its own security logs (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

It is the sole recipient of your data. No other provider receives information about visitors to this website.

8. Your rights (Articles 15-22 GDPR)

At any time you may exercise, free of charge, the following rights:

To exercise them, write to demo@example.invalid or telephone +39 0771 000000. We reply within one month of the request, as required by Article 12(3) GDPR.

8bis. Withdrawal of consent

Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing it must be as easy as giving it (Article 7(3) GDPR). Withdrawal does not render unlawful any processing carried out beforehand: it takes effect from the moment you express it.

In practice: for cookie choices, use the Manage cookie preferences button at the foot of this page, which reopens the panel and lets you change each category. In any other case it is enough to write to demo@example.invalid.

8ter. Automated decision-making and profiling

The website carries out no automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR. There are no algorithms making decisions about you, no personalised advertising and no remarketing.

9. Lodging a complaint

If you consider that the processing of your data infringes the Regulation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR). In Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Italian Data Protection Authority), Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome — garanteprivacy.it. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your habitual residence or place of work. Your right to an effective judicial remedy is unaffected.

10. Children

The website is not directed at children under the age of 14 and does not knowingly collect their data. As there are no forms and no registration areas, there is no channel through which a child could provide data through these pages. If you believe that a child has sent us data using the direct contact details, please write to us: we will delete it.

11. Changes to this notice and new purposes

If we change the services used by the website, we will update this page and the last-updated date at the bottom.

Should we ever wish to use data already collected for a purpose other than the one for which you provided it — for example, using for promotional communications the address from which you had written to make a booking — we will tell you before doing so, with all the information on the new purpose and, where the legal basis is consent, we will ask for it (Article 13(3) GDPR). The channel is the one you wrote from: you will receive a communication at the address you used. We do not ask you to check this page periodically: the duty to inform you is ours, not yours.
